Is there a more picturesque place in Sydney to swim laps? North Sydney Olympic Pool has an art deco design and was opened in 1936. The pool has played host to a number of renowned swimmers, 86 world records have been set in these waters. If that’s not enough to impress you, just take in the view. The pool is right next to the Harbour Bridge with views of the Sydney Opera House, and Luna Park on the other side. Go at dusk and watch the colours change across Sydney Harbour.
